Pentangle Arts council celebrates the end of their 50th year!!!
Pentangle Arts will present A Musical Review Celebrating 50 Years: Honoring Our Past,
Building Our Future on Saturday, November 23, at 7:00 PM in Woodstock Town Hall
Theatre.
The evening will feature songs and scenes from various community musicals presented
in Woodstock Town Hall since the theater was remodeled in 1987. It will include
interviews with Pentangle Executive Directors: David McWilliams, Sabrina Brown, Buzz
Boswell, Holly Levison, Alita Wilson, and Deborah Greene.
Max Comins will be the Emcee for the evening.
Many performers will reprise songs and roles that they previously performed in
Woodstock Town Hall Theatre. They include participants from Pentangle Arts
Performing Arts Camps and Community Showcases.
Participants include Mike Backman, Paul Belaski, Anne Marie Bohn, Harry Borsch,
Becky Campbell, Skip Cady, Collen Doyle, Libby Fraga, Mary Ann Gandolfo Stanford,
Laine Gillespie, Ham Gillett, Jennifer Grossi, Alison Johannensen, Archer Jones, Addie
Kelliher, Katie Kitchel, Natalie Lewis, Claes Mattsson, Molly McDermott, Cathan
McHugh, Tina Miller, Kay Morton, Sara Norcross, Jen Page, Beata Randall, Leah
Rumelt, Don Sinclair, Laura Spittle, Matt Spittle, May Thommason, Quinn Twigg-Smith,
Beckett Velky, Hannah Wheeler, Mick Wimett, Bronwyn Young, and Cerridwynn Young.
The evening will includes songs from South Pacific, Guys & Dolls, The Music Man, The
Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cabaret, Rent, Annie,
and Annie Get Your Gun. Brief scenes will be performed from Love Letters and The
Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
This production is created by Deborah Greene, Bob Merrill, Sharon Groblicki, and Tom
Beck based on a concept of Alita Wilson.
