Livingston Taylor picked up his first guitar at the age of 13, beginning a 40-year career that has encompassed performance, songwriting and teaching. Born in Boston and raised in North Carolina, Livingston is the fourth child in a very musical family that includes Alex, James Taylor, Kate and Hugh, Livingston recorded his first record at the age of 18 and has continued to create well crafted, introspective, and original songs that have earned him listeners worldwide.

Just this past January the State of Massachusetts and The City of Boston declared Wednesday January 18th “Livingston Taylor Day” by Mayor Marty Walsh and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. The celebration kicked off the Livingston’s fifth decade of making music.

Taylor, whose older brother is singer James Taylor, has just released a new album, “Safe Home,” which was eagerly awaited by his many fans.

The Dupont Brothers will open for Livingston and in their Woodstock debut. Two brothers based out of Burlington, VT the sibling indie-folk-rock duo have kept busy on the road since 2013. Their two records, Heavy as Lead (2015) and A Riddle For You (2016), have taken them all over the Northeast, Mid Atlantic, South and Midwest.

The Concert is underwritten in part by: The Byrne Foundation, Dead River Company, Mascoma Savings Bank, Newhall Farm, Reading, Terrace Communities, The Woodstock Rotary Club, and The Point Radio.
