A fusion of theatre, dance, and circus art including acrobatic stilt dance and comtact improvisation.
Largely choreographed by co-director Kristen Greco, with original music by Will Duncan, Ron Rosenman and John Ludington, Bones of the Unknown creates a mythical world of other-worldly stilt creatures, and depicts the tragedy and beauty of their evolution and / or decline - into beings much like ourselves. Through sequences of pathos, comedy and explosive stilt choreography, the dancers transform repeatedly, evoking the wonder and sadness of what it means to be - or become - human.
